This GE RealMAX® Platinum 40-Gallon Short Liquid Propane Atmospheric Water Heater features a Magnesium anode rod, the SmartShield ™ Safety System, which monitors the surrounding air and automatically shuts off the unit if abnormal temperatures are detected, and a rust-proof drain valve.
